Before Making A Choice

The connaisseur's ultimate choice, a laminated wood countertop is natural, versatile and remarkable in its beauty. It will highlight the design of your kitchen and be the envy of your guests. The chef inside of you will appreciate the beauty of a wood laminated island countertop. Food preparation will become a pleasure on this work surface that, well maintained, will last for years.

Please note that in the following text, "panel" and "countertop" are used interchangeably as a work surface countertop or a panel built with strips of wood glued together. These panels are mainly used as kitchen countertops but can also be made as steps, table tops, work stations or other uses.

Depending on your project configuration, you may need one, or several panels that will be attached together to create a work surface that is equally beautiful and practical. One of these panels could be attached as an overhang or as a waterfall, with both top and bottom faces visible. A panel that would be used as an island would have only one visible face requiring a finished appearance. If both faces are visible, both sides will have a nice appearance. Where only one side is visible, the hidden side may have knots, cracks or other features that give a less desirable appearance. Depending on your needs and budget, we offer three options for you to choose the appearance of each side of your panel. When you fill in the information for a quote, you will be asked to chose between these three options.
